Ravenna's performance style has been inspired by the wit and humor of her idol, ecdysiast Gypsy Rose Lee, and shaped by the spectacle of live theater.
In addition to acting and performance roles, Ravenna has filled key behind-the-scenes positions in a variety of theater productions.
Her experience includes cabaret show producer, property master, group dance choreographer, and special effects coordinator (a particular interest). Other skills include firearms training, both practical and theatrical, and horseback riding.
Ravenna has studied burlesque dance with many of neo-burlesque's most heralded artists, including Miss Indigo Blue, Kitten DeVille, Babette LaFave, Tigger "Mister Exotic World 2006", Dirty Martini "Miss Exotic World 2004", Kitten LaRue, and Jo Weldon.
She is currently working with burlesque legend Dee Milo, "The Venus of Dance," to re-create the act "I Married An Angel" (which nearly got her
arrested in the 1950's!), and is a favorite of burlesque legends Satan's
